2024 Volunteers Needed


The two-day Fallasburg Arts Festival would not be possible without the hard work of our amazing volunteers! We ask for volunteers to assist with festival needs beginning on Wednesday before the festival through Sunday.

 

There are many areas where additional help is needed, including:

 

  • Artist Support

  • Children's Area

  • Golf Carts

  • Raffle & Info Booth

  • Set Up & Tear Down

 

Check-out the volunteer opportunities below.

ARTIST SUPPORT 

 

Artist Check-In: Volunteers in this area will be expected to assist artists arriving at the festival by checking them in, providing them with their Artist Packet, and directing them to their load-in area. Ages 13+ are welcome to volunteer.

Booth Sitters: Volunteers in this area will be expected to go to artist's booths to give them a brief break for food and bathroom. Volunteers may need to handle sales. Ages 18+ are welcome to volunteer.

Artist Check Out: Volunteers in this area will be expected to provide artists with a Check Out ticket once their booth has been completely torn down and ready to load out. Ages 13+ are welcome to volunteer.

CHILDREN'S AREA

Children's Area: Volunteers in this area will be expected to restock and clean up craft supplies, and assist children with crafts as needed. Teens 10+ are welcome to volunteer.

GOLF CARTS

Golf Carts: Volunteers in this area will be expected to safely drive a golf cart along a given route offering rides to festival guests. Ages 18+ (with valid driver's license) are welcome to volunteer.

RAFFLE & INFO BOOTH

Info Booth: Volunteers in this area will be expected to answer guest questions about the festival and LowellArts, and sell raffle tickets and LowellArts merchandise. Ages 13+ are welcome to volunteer.

Raffle Prize Collector: Volunteers in this area will collect artwork from artists who are donating to the raffle. Ages 13+ are welcome to volunteer.

 

Raffle Sales: Volunteers in this area will be expected to advertise and sell raffle tickets to festival guests. Ages 18+ are welcome to volunteer.
 

SET-UP & TEAR-DOWN

Set-Up: Volunteers in this area will be expected to assist in putting up all festival tents including the 20x20 Info Booth tent, as well as stacking hay bales in front of the music stage. Expect heavy lifting. Ages 13+ are welcome to volunteer.

Tear Down: Volunteers in this area will be expected to assist in taking down all festival tents, cleaning up around the grounds, and putting festival materials back in LowellArts storage. Some volunteers should expect heavy lifting. Ages 13+ are welcome to volunteer.

Accessibility: LowellArts is accessible to all visitors – whatever their ability. Visitors to our facility can expect a ramped entrance near handicapped parking spots, automatic door exterior door, and wheelchair accessible restrooms. Certified service animals are always welcome. We invite you to contact us in advance of your visit so we can accommodate any special needs.
