Fallasburg Arts Festival

Fine Arts & Fine Craft Festival

The event features 100 unique fine art and fine craft booths, food booths, children's craft area, craft demonstrations, and music performed on an outdoor stage. This 2-day arts festival is held in picturesque Fallasburg Park, located approximately 20 miles east of Grand Rapids in Lowell, MI.

The event is FREE. Parking is $5 per car.

Fine Art & Fine Crafts

Original artwork by high-caliber artists. 100 fine art and fine craft artist booths. Categories include basketry, digital art, fibers, floral, glass, jewelry, leather, metal, mixed media, painting, drawing, photography, printmaking, sculpture, soaps, wood, and more.

Musical Entertainment

Live music on central stage, both days.

2024 Saturday Line-up: Fusion Rock Orchestra, Hawks & Owls, Bruce Matthews, Cold Leather Seats, The Wild Honey Collective. 2024 Sunday Line-up: Whorled, Blue Water Ramblers, Austin Benzing, Red Thyme.

Children's Activities

Craft Demonstrations

Craft demonstrations in the pavilion. Demonstrations include: fiber arts and crafts, fly tying, mosaic, needle felting, printmaking, quilting, glass work, wood carving, wood turning, weaving and more.

Annual Raffle

Raffle Tickets: $2 each, 4 for $5, 10 for $10, 20 for $20. Enter to win the beautiful queen-size quilt, or one of over 75 other artist-made items donated by festival artists.

Food Booths

Food booths offer an array of fall-inspired and festival foods, offered by local community organizations and businesses.

Fallasburg Park

Fallasburg Park is is located off Lincoln Lake Road north of downtown Lowell at 1124 Fallasburg Park Drive, Lowell, MI 49331. Lowell is located 14 miles east of Grand Rapids and 1-hour from Lake Michigan and Lansing.

Fallasburg Park is one of Kent County's most beautiful public parks. The 76-acre park is located on the Flat River in Vergennes Township. Two spring-fed streams run through the lower portion of the site, which is scattered with walking trails, picnic tables, children's play areas and spots perfect for relaxing.

Volunteer

Volunteers needed! To put on a successful event, many volunteers are needed. We are currently seeking volunteers to assist in the following areas: artist support, children's area, golf carts, raffle & info booth, set-up & tear-down.

If you are interested in being an artist at the 2024 festival, please check our website for a link to Zapplication.org after January 31 for application guidelines. The deadline for applications for the 2024 festival is May 1, 2024.
